KREM JUHA OD TIKVICA

Sastojci:

1 velika tikvica (ili 2 manje)

1 mrkva

½ glavice luka srebrenca

1,5 l povrtnog temeljca

0,5 l mlijeka

½ šalice brašna

Sol, papar

2 žl ulja

Priprema:

Tikvicu operite i narežite na kockice. Luk i mrkvu sitno naribajte.

U loncu zagrijte ulje pa na njemu lagano propirjajte povrće. Podlijte s malo temeljca ako treba. Kad povrrće omekša, posipajte ga brašnom. Promiješajte i ulijte temeljac i mlijeko. Kuhajte, miješajući, na laganoj vatri 15-ak minuta (juha će se polako gustiti). Posolite i popaprite po ukusu. Servirajte s brusketama ili krutonima od jučerašnjeg kruha (recept potražite na Ciao Karmela).

CREAM OF ZUCCHINI SOUP

Ingredients:

1 large or 2 small zucchini
1 carrot
½ white onion
1 ½ l vegetable stock
½ l milk
½ cup flour
salt and pepper
2 tbsp oil

Method:

Wash and dice the zucchini. Grate the onion and carrot.
Sauté the vegetables in a pot, in 2 tbsp of oil. Pour in some stock if needed. When the vegetables are soft, stir in the flour. Pour in the stock and milk and cook stirring constantly over low heat for about 15 minutes, letting the soup slowly thicken.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with croutons made from yesterday’s bread (search Ciao Karmela for recipe).
