KOŠARICE ZA KRUH

Potrebno je:

1 komad tkanine s uzorkom 60 x 30 cm (ja sam koristila materijal za teflonski stolnjak)
1 komad pamučne jednobojne tkanine 60 x 30 cm

Postupak:

Materijal s uzorkom presavijte na pola, licem unutra, da dobijete pravokutnik 30 x 30 cm.

Prošijte duž dvije otvorene susjedne stranice. Tako ćete zatvoriti dno i stijenku košarice.

Sad treba odrezati kutove na stranici nasuprotnoj nesašivenom rubu. Odrežite oba kuta, lijevi i desni, 5 cm u duljinu i 5 cm u širinu.

Rastvorite bočnu stranicu pa rubove izrezanog kuta složite jednog na drugi. Sašijte.
Postupak ponovite s drugim kutom. Sad je vaša košarica dobila lijep oblik.

Jednobojnu tkaninu presavijte na pola pa sašijte dno. Kad budete šivali bočnu stranicu, ostavite nesašiven otvor od 3 – 4 cm. (Kroz njega ćete kasnije preokrenuti gotovu košaricu.)

Nastavite po svim koracima kao i s tkaninom s uzorkom.

Kad su oba dijela košarice gotova, jednobojni preokrenite da mu lice bude van, pa ga umetnite u dio s uzorkom (licem o lice). Pažljivo poravnajte kutove.

Oba dijela spojite šavom ukrug, duž gornjeg, nesašivenog ruba.

Kroz onaj otvor koji ste ostavili na jednobojnoj tkanini preokrenite košaricu. Zašijte otvor.

Ponovno namjestite jednobojni dio u onaj s uzorkom, složite uglove, a zatim prevrnite rub košarice na željenu visinu.

What you need:

1 60×30 cm piece of fabric with a pattern (I used a teflon-coated tablecloth)
1 60×30 cm piece of monochromatic cotton fabric

Fold the fabric with a pattern in half, pattern-side in, to get a 30×30 cm square.

Sew any two adjoining sides to get the bottom and one side of the basket.

Now you need to cut off the corners on the side opposite to the open (unsewn) side. Cut both corners, the left and the right, 5 cm from the corner to each side.

Unfold the side and arrange the rims of the cut-out corners on top of each other and sew.
Repeat with the other corner and your basket should get a nice shape.

Fold the single-colour fabric in half and sew the bottom. When sewing the side, leave a 3-4 cm long opening (through which you will later turn the basket inside out).

Repeat the steps for the fabric with a pattern.

When both parts of the basket are done, turn the single-colour fabric inside out (so that the “right” side is out) and place it inside the fabric with a pattern (face sides against each other). Carefully arrange the corners.

Sew along the sides, along the upper (unsewn) rim.

Turn inside out through the opening on the monochromatic fabric. Sew the opening.

Insert the monochromatic part into the part with a pattern again, arrange the corners and fold the upper rim of the basket to make it as high as you need it to be.
