USKRSNI KEKSIĆI

Sastojci:

200 g omekšalog maslaca
1 šalica šećera
1 vanilin šećer
1 jaje
1 žutanjak
naribana kora 1 limuna
1 ½ žlica limunova soka
2 šalice brašna
prstohvat soli
½ praška za pecivo

½ šalice šećera u prahu

Priprema:

Pećnicu zagrijte na 180 °C.

Mikserom tucite maslac i šećer do pjenastog. Dodajte limunovu koricu, vanilin šećer i sok limuna, a zatim i jaje i žutanjak. Miješajte da se smjesa ujednači.

Posebno prosijte brašno, prašak i sol pa lagano umiješajte u smjesu maslaca i jaja.

U malenu zdjelicu stavite šećer u prahu. Žličicom vadite tijesto, oblikujte ga u kuglu i uvaljajte u šećer. Slažite na lim za pečenje prekriven papirom.

Pecite 13 – 15 min.

Kekse izvadite iz pećnice i ostavite u limu 10-ak minuta.

Napomena: Želite li dvobojne kekse, u polovinu smjese dodajte nekoliko kapi crvene prehrambene boje.

LEMON-FLAVOURED BISCUITS

Ingredients:

200 g butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 pouch vanilla sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
grated zest of 1 lemon
1 ½ tbsp lemon juice
2 cups flour
a pinch of salt
½ pouch baking powder
½ cup icing sugar

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until foamy. Add the lemon zest, vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Add the egg and the egg yolk and beat until combined.

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt and combine with the butter mixture.

Place the icing sugar in a small bowl. Take a spoonful of the dough, form into a ball and coat it with the sugar. Place on a baking tin lined with baking paper.

Bake for 13-15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and leave to rest for about 10 minutes.

Note: If you want to add colour to your biscuits, add a few drops of (red) food colouring to one half of the batter.
