PLIŠANI ZEKO

Potrebno je:

1 m meke šarene tkanine (kao za dekice)
200 g punjenja (pahuljice)
30 cm ukrasne vrpce
konac i igla za vezenje
1 pompon

Postupak:

Sve dijelove obrubite cik-cak bodom.
Preokrenite. To je buduće uho vašeg zečića. Ponovite s druga 2 dijela B.
Sašijte zajedno 2 dijela C (noga), licem prema unutra, ostavljajući otvorenu gornju stranu. Preokrenite.
Koncem izvezite oči i nosić, a oko vrata zavežite ukrasnu vrpcu.
Na leđima našijte pompon na mjestu repića.

STUFFED BUNNY

What you need:

1 m soft fabric (blanket-like) with a pattern
200 g stuffing (flakes)
30 cm ribbon
a needle and thread
1 pompon

Use the templates to cut the fabric for the bunny body parts.
Cut 2 A pieces for the body, 4 B pieces for the ears, 4 C pieces for the legs and 4 D pieces for the arms. Be careful to create the left and the right sides of the body, which is of particular importance when your fabric has different patterns on two sides.
Trim all edges with a zigzag stitch seam finish.
Place 2 B pieces one on top of the other, face side in, leaving an opening on top. Turn over to see the future ear of your bunny. Repeat with the other ear.
Place 2 C pieces one on top of the other, face side in, leaving an opening on top. Turn over and stuff through the opening. To finish the leg, sew the opening.
Repeat with the other leg.
Place 2 D pieces one on top of the other, face side in, leaving an opening on the short, non-rounded side. Turn over and stuff through the opening. To finish the arm, sew the opening.
Repeat with the other arm.
Place one A piece on a flat surface, face side up. Place the ears, arms and legs so that the side where the opening used to be sticks out and the body parts are placed on the body (be careful where you place the left and right body parts). Sew with a narrow stitch.
Place the other body piece on top, face side in, and secure with pins.
This will be a bit tricky as the arms, legs and ears need to fit “inside” the body (arrange them nicely lest you should sew them by accident when sewing the two body parts!).
Sew the two body parts together carefully, along the rim. Leave a 3 cm opening, turn over and stuff.
Sew the opening.
Use a needle and thread to create the eyes and tie a ribbon around the neck.
Sew a pompon on the back side for a tail.
