SALATA OD SIRA I PAPRIKA

Ova je salata apsolutno nezaobilazna kad Vukov-Colići peku roštilj.

Sastojci:

4 zelene paprike

400 g kravljeg sira

4 žl kiselog vrhnja

2 žl maslinovog ulja  + 1 žl maslinovog ulja  posebno (za sir)

1 češanj češnjaka, sitno nasjeckanog

2-3 žl vinskog octa

Priprema:

 

Paprike složite na lim i ispecite u pećnici. Tupim nožem sastružite ispečenu  kožu, a zatim izvadite sredinu. Paprike narežite na rezance. Stavite ih u dublju zdjelu, posolite, popaprite, začinite uljem, octom i češnjakom.  Poravnajte površinu.

Posebno pomiješajte sir, vrhnje i žlicu ulja, posolite, popaprite i dobro izjednačite.  Tako pripremljenim sirom  prekrijte  paprike i ostavite u hladnjaku preko noći.

CHEESE AND PEPPER SALAD

This salad is a must-have at every Vukov-Colić BBQ

Ingredients:

4 green peppers
400 g fresh cow-milk cheese
4 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp for the cheese
1 clove garlic
2-3 tbsp wine vinegar

Method:

Arrange the peppers in a baking tin and bake in the oven. Use a knife spine (the opposite side of the edge) to remove the baked skin. Seed the peppers.
Slice the peppers into strips, place in a deep bowl, season with salt and pepper, oil, vinegar and garlic.
In a separate bowl, combine the cheese, cream and 1 tbsp oil, season with salt and pepper and stir until uniform. Transfer on top of the peppers.

Refrigerate overnight.
