BAKIN DŽEM OD DIDINIH MARELICA

Svježe pecivo premazano domaćim džemom od marelica je doručak kojim su desetljećima žene u mojoj obitelji bacale čini na svoje muškarce

Sastojci:

Marelice

Šećer

Neprskani limun

Priprema:

Zrele marelice pažljivo ogulite i izvadite im koštice. Na kilogram očišćenih marelica dodajte kilogram šećera. Promiješajte i ostavite da se sljubljuju preko noći.

Ujutro stavite na vatru i zagrijavajte do vrenja. Kad marelice zavriju, smanjite vatru (jer tko brzo gori, brzo i izgori) i skidajte pjenu koja se stvara (pjena svaku priču pokvari). Kuhajte dok se marelice ne počnu raspadati od užitka. Sad ih treba osnažiti jednim neprskanim i na kriške narezanim limunom. Ubacite ga iznenada, zajedno s korom – to će marelicama dati posebnu slast.

Kuhajte još 15-ak minuta, pa onda džem ulijte u vruće staklenke. Obgrlite ih i utoplite dekom i ostavite na miru dok se skroz ne ohlade. Kao i zaljubljenima, i ovoj čaroliji treba dati vremena i prostora
.
Kad se džem ohladi, zatvorite staklenke poklopcem. Čuvajte na hladnom, a konzumirajte u trenucima koji traže snagu, odvažnost i strast.

GRANDMA’S JAM MADE FRAM GRANDPA’S APRICOTS

Ingredients:

apricots

sugar

lemon

Method:

Carefully peel and pit ripe apricots.

Add 1 kg sugar to each kg apricots and leave to rest overnight.
The following morning, bring the apricots to a boil and reduce the heat (what boils fast, burns fast). Cook skimming the foam (the foam can spoil any spell) until the apricots begin falling apart with delight.
They need to be strengthened by an organic lemon cut into wedges. Toss them in suddenly, unpeeled, as they will give the apricots that special relish.
Cook for about 15 minutes and then pour the jam into hot jars. Brace them with a blanket to keep warm and leave to cool completely. Like a pair of lovers, the jam needs time and space for the magic to happen.
Once the jam is cold, seal the jars. Keep in a cold place and serve when times call for strength and passion.
