OVEN-BAKED TOAST

Ingredients:

100 g ham, diced
100 g cheese, diced
2 hard-boiled eggs, diced
1-2 pickles, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
2-3 heaping tbsp sour cream
salt and pepper
toast or yesterday’s bread slices

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
Combine the fresh egg, cream, mayo and mustard in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the ham, cheese, boiled egg and pickles
Optionally, add chopped bacon, prosciutto, sausages, bell peppers…
Arrange the toast slices on a baking tin and top each with 1-2 tbsp of the topping.
Bake for about 20 minutes, until a nice crust has formed on top.
Serve with beer or a soft drink.

TOPLI SENDVIČI

Sastojci:

100 g šunke, narezane na kockice
100 g sira, narezanog na kockice
2 tvrdo kuhana jaja, narezana na kockice
1 – 2 kisela krastavca, sitno nasjeckana
1 jaje
1 žlica majoneze
1 žličica senfa
2 – 3 obilne žlice kiselog vrhnja
sol i papar
tost ili jučerašnji kruh narezan na kriške

Priprema:

Pećnicu zagrijte na 180 ºC.
U zdjeli pomiješajte svježe jaje, vrhnje, majonezu i senf. Posolite i popaprite.
U taj „umak“ dodajte šunku, sir, kuhano jaje i krastavce.
(Ako želite, dodajte i komadiće slanine, pršuta, kobasice, paprike…).
Tost rasporedite po limu za pečenje pa na svaku krišku stavite 1 – 2 žlice nadjeva.
Pecite 20-ak minuta (dok se na nadjevu ne počne hvatati lijepa korica).
Poslužite uz pivo ili kakvo bezalkoholno piće.
