CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN

Chocolate fountains always cheer up the young (and not-so-young) birthday or pyjama party guests.
If you do not have a fountain, prepare the dessert in a pot, just like fondue.

Ingredients:

For the dip:
300 g chocolate, chopped
250 ml sweet cream
50 ml milk
50 g butter
a pinch of cinnamon – optional

For dipping:
strawberries (leaves removed)
bananas (peeled and sliced 2 cm thick)
tangerine wedges, grapes…
pieces of sponge cake
crêpes – rolled and sliced 2 cm thick and pierced by a stick
large salted pretzels

BBQ skewers or fondue forks

Method:

Combine the cream, milk and chopped chocolate in an oven-proof dish. Cook over low heat, stirring until the chocolate has melted. Add the butter and stir well until uniform. (If the crème seams too thick, add 1-2 tbsp milk.) Stir in the cinnamon (optional).
Pour the crème into the device (the fountain) or place the dish on a fondue base over a candle.
Serve the strawberries, bananas, tangerines, grapes, pretzels, crêpes on sticks, and sliced sponge cake – and the party can begin!

ČOKOLADNA FONTANA

Čokoladna fontana uvijek razveseli male (i velike) sudionike rođendanskih slavlja i pidžama partyja.

Ako nemate fontanu, desert pripremite u lončiću, kao fondue.

Sastojci:

Umak:

300 g čokolade, nasjeckane

250 ml slatkog vrhnja

50 ml mlijeka

50 g maslaca

malo cimeta – po želji

 

 

Za umakanje:

jagode – očišćene od peteljki

banane – oguljene i narezane na komade 2 cm

kriške mandarine, bobice grožđa…

komadi biskvita

palačinke – zarolane i narezane na komade duge 2 cm i nabodene na štapiće

veliki slani pereci

štapići za roštilj ili vilice za fondue

Priprema:

U manjoj vatrostalnoj posudi pomiješajte vrhnje, mlijeko i čokoladu pa stavite na laganu vatru. Miješajte dok se čokolada ne otopi. Dodajte maslac i dobro promiješajte da dobijete jednoličnu kremu. (Čini li vam se pregusta, dodajte još žlicu- dvije mlijeka). Ako želite, umiješajte i cimet.

Kremu ulijte u aparat- fontanu ili posudu s umakom postavite na postolje pod kojim upalite dušicu.

U zdjelicama poslužite jagode, banane, mandarine i grožđe,  perece,  palačinke na štapiću  i komade biskvita i – party može početi!!!
