100 g ham, diced
100 g cheese, diced
2 hard-boiled eggs, diced
1-2 pickles, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
2-3 heaping tbsp sour cream
salt and pepper
toast or yesterday’s bread slices


Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
Combine the fresh egg, cream, mayo and mustard in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the ham, cheese, boiled egg and pickles
Optionally, add chopped bacon, prosciutto, sausages, bell peppers…
Arrange the toast slices on a baking tin and top each with 1-2 tbsp of the topping.
Bake for about 20 minutes, until a nice crust has formed on top.
Serve with beer or a soft drink.
