2 ¾ cup plain flour
1 ½ cup sugar
2 pouches vanilla sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
a pinch of salt

4 eggs
1 cup oil
1 cup yogurt or soured milk

24 strawberries
1 banana

icing sugar


Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Place the cupcake liners in the muffin tin.
Combine the flour, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar and baking powder in a large bowl.
Beat the eggs in a small bowl. Add the oil and yogurt.
Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir briefly (do not worry if the mixture does not look uniform – stir only to moisturise the dry ingredients).
Fill each cupcake liner with a heaping tablespoon of the mixture. Place a strawberry and a thin banana slice on top.
Bake for 27-30 minutes. Leave to cool.
Serve sprinkled with icing sugar.
