½ cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
½ cup melted butter (60 g)
100 g chocolate, chopped
1-2 heaping tbsp Nutella
a pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
Line a 20×20-cm baking tin with a sheet of parchment paper.
Combine the flour and salt.
Melt the butter and chocolate in a small, oven-proof bowl in a microwave oven. Stir after 30 seconds, then return to the oven for another 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. (Optionally, you can melt the chocolate and butter over low heat.)
Whisk the eggs and sugar. Add the Nutella and stir well.
Add the melted chocolate and flour alternately, in 2-3 batches.
Transfer to the baking tin.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven carefully, using oven mitts, and leave to cool.
Cut into cubes and serve.
(This brownie tastes great served with a scoop of ice cream! 🙂 )
